How these posts are written

The blog does not invent a statistic and then go looking for a link. A sweep reads public pages, keeps the sentence that states the number, and posts that sentence with the URL.

Sweep date 24 September 2026 · Serath desk

This is the rule for every page under /blog:

  1. Open the public page. If the page does not load, the number does not go in the post.
  2. Quote or closely paraphrase only what that page states. A vendor's price page is labeled as that vendor's price, not as an independent audit.
  3. Old studies stay old. A 30-day look at 85 businesses is not "2026 industry data" just because a newer blog repeated it.
  4. Arithmetic Serath adds (for example, an hourly wage times 2,080 hours) is marked as arithmetic, not as the source's figure.
  5. Serath's own prices are copied from the live studio page, not from memory.

The 24 September 2026 sweep used four public pages: a 411 Locals study page, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics receptionist outlook, a Layer3 Labs pricing guide, and a Ringly pricing breakdown. Later posts will name the pages they actually opened. If a source changes its number, the post does not silently update. A new sweep gets a new date.
